Stornoway treasure hunt

Stornoway treasure hunt is our fun, simple, way to see all the key sights this great island has to offer as well as engage all the family in some fun. There is loads of learning, history and unique experiences as you solve the clues to one of the islands greatest mysteries. On our Stornoway treasure hunt, simply work your way through each clue, they are ordered so that they are linear in a driving sense but you can do them in any order you like, over as many days as you want!

As you gather the clues you will be able to fill in our puzzle grid to help solve a mystery that is as old as time itself.  It’s great fun but we will admit that from time to time the weather can erode some of our clues (although we haven’t heard of that yet) but if there is a clue that makes no sense just email us and we will be happy to offer some hints as long as you tell us which clue didn’t work any more!

We are all a big family here and our Stornoway treasure hunt is meant to be purely for fun so if you do see anything wrong just give us a shout and we will be happy to help out.  Also if you have any questions please do let us know and we will do all we can to get you an answer.

The Stornoway treasure hunt covers Stornoway and Point (known as Chicken Head).  You can try our other treasure hunt too!  Our other hunt covers the north and west of the island.  We are looking to develop our Uig and Harris versions through 2021 when the pandemic calms down abit.  So stay safe and enjoy our hunts!
